Choosing a major is one of the most important decisions in life. For me, becoming an English Literature student at Universitas Bung Hatta has been an exciting and meaningful journey.
At first, I was unsure about which major to choose. However, I have always been interested in English and wanted to improve my communication skills. I believe that English is an important language in today’s global world, and learning it can open many opportunities in the future.
Since entering the English Literature program, I have learned many things beyond grammar and vocabulary. I have studied public speaking, academic writing, linguistics, and critical reading. These subjects have helped me develop my confidence, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Being a university student is not always easy. There are many assignments, presentations, and exams that require good time management. Besides academics, I am also involved in student organizations, which have taught me about leadership, teamwork, and responsibility.
One of the most valuable lessons I have learned is that every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Through my experiences as an English Literature student, I have become more confident and motivated to achieve my goals.
In the future, I hope to use my knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on others. My journey is still ongoing, and I am excited to see where it will lead me.
Thank you for reading my story!
